Well...Today in Atlanta was a new experience for me. As we were driving to the airport, huge snow flurries were swirling everywhere. The airport personnel were clueless as to how to handle the weather and flights were really backed up.
We made our first flight to Miami, then on to Quito by 8pm. The whole group was exhausted, so we went to a quick dinner then to bed. We have to catch a plane tomorrow at 8 to the Galapagos...should be fun.
Little aside, one of the guys in our group actually got on the wrong plane in Atlanta and his flights to Miami got cancelled and delayed. He made it to Miami, but after the Qutio flight had left. The 2nd flight to Ecuador for the day was cancelled, so right now he is in Miami hoping to make it down here before we catch our flight...I hope he makes it.
Rule #1 from the trip. Don't leave the group.
